ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited the following:
•Planning, directing and controlling the efforts of the maintenance.
•Assist operation in training operators in the operation of new equipment.
•Adheres to and promotes all safety guidelines and company standards.
•Responding quickly to any emergencies.
•Run a preventive maintenance program that will minimize service repairs.
•Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
•Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
•Repairs machinery and equipment through the use of the appropriate methods; welding, replacement of parts, trouble shooting and diagnosing electrical, electronic, control, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and issues.
•Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment, parts and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
•Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
•Documents all repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections.
QUALIFICATIONS
•High School education or equivalent
•Advanced knowledge of PLC programming, Automation control troubleshooting, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical (high and low voltage), Electronic control systems, Welding, Cutting, Fabrication and General Mechanics
•Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics, identify and resolve input and output functions of logic controls
•Knowledge of forklift operations.
•Basic computer skills.
•Ability to record data for maintenance records.
•Ability to work with others in all phases of manufacturing.
•Possesses a high level of initiative and is able to work effectively with minimum supervision.
•Maintains a sense of urgency, individual responsibility, and possesses the ability to effectively work under pressure and with changing priorities.
•Good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively.
•Prior experience working in railroad operations and MOW experience is preferred.
WORK AVAILABILITY
•Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance according to company guidelines.
- Must be available and willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
- 100% travel required. Based out of Colorado, but traveling to any location in the US.
- International travel required for training purposes.

EXPECTED WORK PROCESS
- The employee will travel with the grinding unit, to various parts of the continental US. They will live out of motel rooms, work long hours, haul the grinding unit and mobile parts trailer from location to location.
- Expect to stay in remote locations for upwards of a month at a time, with down time between. Employees will travel and work with the grinding unit, then return home for down time between projects.
- Employees with a desire to travel and see the US, who are internally motivated to complete work assigned in a timely manner, who are willing to spend up to a month or more away from home would do well in this position.
