As part of the Unified Communications and Collaboration team, the Multimedia Solutions group is BlackRock’s strategic multimedia and event production services partner. Our global teams provide video production, audio-visual support, webcasting, podcasting, virtual and physical events and digital signage support.
The Multimedia Lead will direct all multimedia needs for the Atlanta site. In this role you would be asked to handle requests independently and to liaise with senior staff and clients onsite regularly.
Review daily AV schedule and provide both remote and onsite room support
Provide first line break-fix support for all AV hardware
Ensure scheduled conferences are connected without issues and on time
Assist with overall administrative works, including responding to AV support hotline calls and emails
Conduct daily room checks
Review, respond and handle support tickets
Setup and provide in-room support for events and webcasts, including all technical arrangements and pre-event testing of audio, wireless microphone battery levels and video conference
Build, update, conduct and edit live and on-demand streaming media events
Troubleshoot technical problems before/during/after the event
Build successful client relationships
Provide onsite video production support as required
Quickly resolve problems and make quick decisions during the production of live events
Educate clients on Multimedia Solutions products and services
5-7 years of work experience in a deadline driven environment
Excellent organizational, planning, management and interpersonal skills.
Ambitious with strong attention to detail.
Excellent time management, prioritization and communication skills.
BA/BS in related field (or commensurate working experience)
Editing and shooting skills
Ability to operate independently.
Strong client service skills
Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment and navigate through unexpected roadblocks
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS
Knowledge of streaming protocols and encoding of audio/video and related tools
AV support technician in a client-facing support role
Knowledge of Cisco technologies
