We are seeking a Component Engineer to help support space missions. You will be joining a hardworking team of engineers and scientists who are passionate about Space.
As a Component Engineer..
Your primary responsibility will be to perform EEE parts selection and approval, specify parts screening, qualification, and acceptance test requirements, and review and approve parts test data in support of Civil (CS) and National Security Space (NSS) sponsors.
You will work as an engineer on major CS or NSS spacecraft missions and instruments.
You will support proposal development, parts cost review, and heritage.
You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering or related field.
Have at least 1-3 years of experience in EEE component engineering.
Have strong, demonstrated interpersonal and technical skills.
Have experience in the development of technical documents for design &/or manufacturing requirements.
Are able to obtain a Secret security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
NASA Programs experience.
Ability to tackle diverse problems with minimal supervision.
