QPS is seeking a 1st shift Customer Service Representative to assist one of our clients out in Waukesha, WI! We are looking for candidates who have at least one year's experience in a call center, specifically working with parts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Receive customer inquiries or orders via phone and email
  • Verify part price and availability in ERP system
  • Quote prices to customers for parts with established part numbers in the system
  • Interact with Production Control or Purchasing to determine schedule and pricing of part
  • Enter and confirm parts orders for the customer
  • Verify credit terms of order and credit status of customer
  • Log after-hour calls in company software application
  • Track order status for customers
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call, non-business hours support on regular rotating schedule with other department members
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least one year of call center experience involving manufacturing or parts
  • Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Able to write simple correspondence
  • Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
