Job Description
GDIT is HIRING a Biostatistician to support the Navy Marine Corps Public Health Center in Portsmouth, VA.

Responsibilities to include:
Create analytic plans and establish analytic and data requirements from a non‐technical (i.e. clinical) customer and write the applicablecode to generate and deliver the results in a comprehensible format.
Responsible for ensuring the statistical validity and epidemiological applicability of study activities.
Work with multidisciplinary teams to design and analyze various clinical anaysis projects using a variety of statistical techniques.
Perform a variety of duties involving the application of statistical skills to the design of studies and will provide statistical expertise for the design, execution and analysis of studies.
Education

Master’s degree in with at least 12 credit hours of statistics, biostatistics, or epidemiology.

Qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ experience in biostatistics or epidemiology.
Expertise and mastery of the SAS language and/or other statistical packages such as R.
SAS Certification as a Certified Clinical Trials Programmer Using SAS 9 or Advanced
Programmer for SAS 9.
Experience with DATA Step Processing, SQL Processing, SAS Macro Language,
SAS/STAT, SAS/GRAPH, CDISC Standards, Data Management with Large Datasets (ETL).
Ability to apply and interpret analytical and mathematical tools through the programming environment to address complex issues involving multiple table structures with complex query designs.
