Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced outside sales representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing existing customer accounts, and achieving targets for creating new customer accounts and sales in the Kitchen & Bath Industry. It is a primarily on the road position focus around San Diego location. Main office is located in Chino, and sales person will be covering San Diego area, and coming into the office in Chino routinely. Commission is also included.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business and successful account creations by identifying and targeting potential customers through networking, visiting, and related lead-generation activities.
- Research potential customer leads and organize a weekly schedule to effectively visit leads daily. Traveling in Southern California is required.
- Assist internal sales team by maintaining strong relationships with existing customers through site visits to provide customer service, address needs and concerns, provide updates, and gather feedback on products and service
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer visits
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on activity, market trends, and customer feedback
- Collaborate with the sales team to address existing customer needs through visits to drop off product samples, or other items as needed
- Visit potential customer’s showrooms, schedule meetings, and provide presentations of product and service offerings to gain their business
- Generate and develop new customer business to achieve operational objectives and increase sales
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers within the customer's organization
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to identify new opportunities or current challenges
Requirements:
- Proven sales experience (3+ years), preferably in an outside sales role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
- Knowledge in cabinet industry
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to address customer needs and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize workload, manage time effectively, and work efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel and a valid driver's license.
- Travel is required in the covered territory (San Diego).
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word or similar programs
- 2020 Design Software knowledge is a plus.
- Fluent English / Spanish speaking is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
