Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Mid-level or Senior-level RF Systems Engineer to join our team. Your primary function will be to assist a program manager with concept development, program analysis, budget tracking, schedule and progress performance reports and briefs and attend decision meetings to meet program goals supproting Special Access Programs (SAPs) within the Department of Defense (DOD), Headquarters United States Air Force.

Responsibilities

MTSI is seeking Mid-level or Senior-level RF Systems Engineer whose primary function will be to assist a program manager with concept development, program analysis, budget tracking, schedule and progress performance reports and briefs and attend decision meetings to meet program goals supproting Special Access Programs (SAPs) within the Department of Defense (DOD), Headquarters United States Air Force. This position will be located in the Washington DC area.

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

Mid-level RF Systems Engineer

Advise and assist technical program management activities to include:

Formulating program plans,

Tracking program progress and analyzing results for adherence to standards

Contract requirements to support program execution.

Support an integrated product teams.

Senior-level RF Systems Engineer – Principal

Same job description as above with a highly qualified specialty.

Systems engineer advising and assisting complex technical activities formulating broadly applicable plans or facilitating leadership of integrated product team.

Qualifications
Mid-level RF systems engineer - 8+ years technical experience; 5+ years RF engineering experience and 5+ years program management or program support experience.
Senior-level RF systems engineer - 15+ years technical experience; 8+ years RF engineering experience and 8+ years program management or program support

Desired:
DAWIA Level II Certification (Mid-level).
DAWIA Level III Certification (Senior-level).

Education Requirements:
Mid-level RF systems engineer - BS Engineering Degree (any) and Masters (any); 8+ years professional experience; 5+ years RF engineering experience and 5+ years program management or program support experience.

Senior-level RF systems engineer - BS Engineering (any) with Technical Masters; 15+ years professional experience; 8+ years RF engineering experience and 8+ years program management or program support.

Clearance Requirements:
Current TS (SCI & SAP eligibility required); an active TS/SCI clearance is desired. Subject to a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.

Travel Requirements:
When supporting an integrated product teams travel may be required upto 25% of support time.
