Samsung’s unique first party data helps brands connect to their audience as they explore content across desktop, mobile, tablets and our Smart TVs. We’re looking for a confident individual to lead Product Marketing efforts for Samsung Ads focused on our mobile data and inventory. He/She should have a self-starter mindset with a passion for driving the go-to-market strategy for innovative products and features. The Senior Manager of Product Marketing will be the dedicated liaison between Product Management, Business team and Insights and Analytics to ensure streamlined communication and regular sharing of market knowledge within the Agency and Brand domains.
Candidates must have a strong knowledge base of digital advertising, with mobile and programmatic being core areas of experience. Knowledge of the connected TV space is a plus. He/She will be expected to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside the company.
The Sr. Manager of Product Marketing will report directly to the Global Director of Product Marketing and will be based in New York City. Role and Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include:
Define revenue driving marketplace solutions based on our mobile data and offerings with a keen eye toward programmatic buying channels.
Hire and manage a team of product solution managers focused mobile and programmatic solutions that will drive sales impact and go-to-market strategies across multiple verticals.
Influence allocated budget and resources for improving ROI and business impact.
Work directly with Sales to identify new business opportunities and serve as a product expert in pre-sales ideation, client meetings and solution development, especially in conjunction with Insights and Analytics and the application of mobile data across our ecosystem.
Develop product solution narratives based on mobile data and inventory including use cases, customer successes and unique value and differentiators for Samsung Ads Product Solutions.
Play an integral role in identifying and prioritizing product development needs based on sales and marketplace feedback, while effectively communicating business requirements in order to deliver an effective roadmap.
Drive product communications and gear the business team with most relevant information on new product innovations and in-market product enhancements around mobile and programmatic channels.
Serve as an evangelist for Samsung Ads products through partnering with PR for thought leadership social media, and speaking engagements.
Skills and Qualifications
8+ years of experience working in ad tech and media
Domain knowledge in product marketing, product solutions or sales strategy
Deep understanding of the digital ad landscape, in particular mobile and programmatic
Demonstrable experience partnering with product and sales teams based in different regions/countries
Leadership experience of managing and growing small or medium-sized teams in fast-paced environment
Ability to make complex products easy to understand and sell
Experience in solution development, pricing and revenue projections associated with products, and the ability to pitch and get buy-in on the plan
Ability to forge strong working relationships with stakeholders in Finance, Sales, Product and Operations
Willingness to help others, continually learn and apply a healthy sense of humor where appropriate.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Advertising or related field
Master’s or MBA degree helpful
