Full Job Description
Responsible for execution of regressions and QA checks for Custom IR/EM design tools, and for detailed evaluation of run results to validate proper behavior of the tools for accuracy of results and correctness of individual features.
Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a technical nature.
U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job.
Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Candidates must be pursuing either MS or PhD degrees.
Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year’s experience using Unix, Perl, and Tcl or similar scripting languages, and at least 1 semester of courses or project work that familiarizes them with semiconductor technology, VLSI design, and custom IC layout
Experience with schematic entry, SPICE simulation, layout verifciation, and parasitic extraction.
