The Digital Analyst, Marketing plays a critical role in shaping the future of Shane Co. We believe that data analysis and recommendations are critical to strategic decision making and future growth of the business. The ideal candidate is responsible for analyzing digital data and behavior across shaneco.com. They will also create dashboards, perform deep dive analysis, and identify actionable insights to improve the customer experience and optimize business KPIs. They will have outstanding analytic skills, strong business acumen, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a passion for all things digital. The candidate will work closely with cross functional partners across the Marketing, Merchandising, Strategy, and IT teams.
Transform business questions into actionable analysis that yields insights for improving the customer experience, optimizing marketing efforts, NPS score and driving incremental sales.
In partnership with other teams, articulate requirements to ensure we are able to track and report on all web, mobile, social, and in-store digital initiatives.
Ensure that digital analytic tools are implemented properly to capture appropriate data to drive actionable insight and measure effectiveness of digital activities.
Develop, publish, and present weekly and monthly executive dashboards.
Research new and innovative ideas to increase $ per visit on our website, including changes to design, new functionality, etc., through site testing.
Manage relationships with cross-functional business partners by providing objective information derived from data to support their functional areas.
Apply industry best practices, intuition and rigorous testing methodologies to further the development of our site.
Assist in developing testing strategies and execute A/B and MVT tests on the site in partnership with the marketing and customer experience teams.
Scope, prioritize, manage, and analyze testing projects, evaluating them based on opportunity and effort. This will involve working cross-functionally with various groups within E-Commerce world.
Answer ad-hoc business questions to drive site marketing strategies or troubleshoot performance issues.
Stay current on trends and best practices in digital analytics and e-commerce.

Experience with web analytics tools, specifically Adobe and Google Analytics. Other digital measurement tools a plus.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related. MBA preferred. The equivalent combination of education, training and work experience may be suitable.
2-5 years in a digital analytics role – preferably in a retail environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Experience working with cross-functional teams.
Comprehensive understanding of general marketing concepts.
Strong project management skills and ability to work with tight deadlines.
Ability to prioritize and execute.
Ability to synthesize information from a variety of sources to arrive at optimal solutions.
