We are a global health economicsand outcomes research (HEOR) / real-world evidence (RWE) consulting firmlocated in Parsippany, New Jersey. We specialize in observational medical chartreviews and patient-reported outcomes studies for the pharmaceutical andhealthcare industries. We have an immediate opening for a Director, Clinical/ HEOR Data Management to manage end-to-end delivery of data managementservices. The qualified candidate will lead a team of data analysts conductingthe following activities:

  • Design study databases and address all data-relatedquestions
  • Develop and maintain electronic data capturesoftware used for the collection and processing of research instruments acrossall studies
  • Ongoing review of data as it is received andresolve data queries
  • Perform data cleaning by analyzing data inaggregate to ensure accuracy
  • Analyze data through statistical softwarepackages, tabulation programs and pivot tables

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients ondata management deliverables; manage multiple large HEOR / RWE studies (both USand international)
  • Provide project management expertise workingwith customer data managers, key decision makers, and internal team members tomanage continuous process improvements, issue escalation, workload projections,and provide technical expertise
  • Serve as the escalation point for unresolveddata issues; independently work with client data managers, vendors, internalteam members for resolution
  • Implement proactive quality management plansacross multiple projects/customer accounts
  • Support RFP process (review RFP documents,pricing, attend bid defense)
  • Attend customer meetings and lead discussions ofproject requirements and strategic planning
  • Perform quality control of database builds anddata management documentation
  • Offer solutions to address quality concernsidentified through data review trends
  • Serve as the primary business contact for allexternal technologies (EDC, statistical software, etc.)Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree, or educational equivalent, inhealth, clinical, biological or mathematical sciences, or related field.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data management.
  • In-depth knowledge of data collection, reporting,and cleaning methodologies related to clinical research and the collection of HEOR/ RWD and/or registry studies
  • Experience with EDC/web-based systems, SAS orother statistical platforms, database standards, data abstraction and EMR systems
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology,anatomy, and/or physiology
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) andrelevant regulatory guidelines
  • Previous experience and proven competence inmanaging delivery of multiple global studies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, customerservice, and teamwork skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solvingskills
  • Excellent project management skills
