Visitor Center Assistant, Part-Time

The Visitor Center Assistant is responsible for administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by the Manager including daily operations, maintenance and upkeep of center and surrounding area.

  • Assist with the customer experience process from beginning to end delivering a consistent message including tours of community amenities and surrounding areas
  • Maintain company standards for the customer experience
  • Responsible for prompt response to inquiries from guests
  • Direct perspective buyers to homebuilders' models for information on available homesites, floor plans and buying process
  • Assist with maintaining the appearance of the center
  • Collect all required visitor information as outlined by management
  • Complete required weekly and monthly reporting as required
  • Assist with management and coordination all Discovery Cottage stays including reservations, concierge services and housekeeping program
  • Assist with coordination and attend community marketing events
  • Other duties as assigned
  • High School diploma and 1 -3 years of experience in home sales, hospitality or similar role with administrative skills
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
  • Effective problem solving skills
  • Strong computer skills in Mircrosoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Proactive, organized and self-motivated with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Professional attire and appearance required
  • Ability to work flexible hours and schedule including some weekends
