Harben Inc. is a growth-oriented, world leader of high-pressure pumps and provides high pressure sewer cleaning equipment to the municipal and contractor market.
We have a great opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager in the Southeastern US, ideally in the Atlanta, GA area, but will consider other SE US locations. The Regional Sales Manager position compensation plan provides a base salary plus an excellent commission program.
Responsibilities:
- Service existing customers, obtain orders, establish new customers by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales and trade contacts.
- Grow and develop direct and dealer sales channels through equipment demonstrations.
- Build and form new partnerships with direct contractors and municipal dealer network.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques.
- Resolve customer concerns and questions by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Maintain a professional and technical knowledge of the industry by attending trade shows, reviewing publications, and establishing a personal network.
- Develop the ability to demonstrate and trouble shoot Harben products.
- Prepare weekly reporting of calls, meeting and demonstrations.
Qualifications:
- Positive, professional approach and demeaner
- Previous experience in sales and/or customer service
- Able to work independently, establish and meet goals.
- BA or Associate Degree preferred.
- 5 years’ experience in capital equipment sales, preferably in the plumbing, municipal water & sewer markets preferred.
- 2 years' experience demonstrating equipment preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot equipment.
- Willing to travel 50 to 75% withing Southeast US Region
Location - Preferably Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama or Tennessee.
