Leads the strategic development, planning, direction, coordination and integration of Foundation operations to achieve the organization's mission, strategic directives and goals.
Develops and implements plans for capital and major fundraising initiatives.
Grows philanthropy by developing new forms of revenue and asset creation to sustain Health Ministry operations and mission.
Develops and implements strategy and growth business/marketing plans in conjunction with executive leadership. Monitors industrial and national trends and forecasts to develop priorities aimed towards growth objectives.
Leads philanthropy department.
Creates a culture and environment that attracts, develops and retains qualified employees/associates. Creates a shared vision. Develops, energizes and motivates staff through example, coaching, and teaching.
Leads financial planning. Develops budgets and achieves financial targets. Ensures that department operations comply with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.
Develops relationships between organization and community leaders at the highest level and provides these individuals with opportunities for involvement and investment.
Actively involved in developing and delivering strategies for philanthropy.
Formulates and implements operational strategies and initiatives pertaining to the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors.
Provides independent leadership to forge sophisticated and creative partnerships that leverage existing stakeholders and resources while expanding and diversifying the organization's networks and donor base.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in
Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Fund Development, or a related field and Ten (10) years of experience in fund development, coalition building, and/or finance management.
Master’s Degree preferred
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Experience regarding finances and philanthropy are required.
Financial management, revenue growth and asset creation are critical requirements of this role.
Excellent communication and public speaking skills are required.
Experience managing a complex budget and professional / finance staff.
