Lead high potential customers through an IT Modernization journey with Azure.
The Azure Practice Architect is focused on supporting the execution of our Azure Public Cloud go to market strategy across their defined account base, and then responsible for helping guide those customers to modernize their IT Infrastructure with Azure. This includes both customers new to Azure and those intending on expanding their use of the Azure platform.
As our Azure Practice Architect, you will have responsibility for:
Enable the execution of our Azure go to market strategy by identifying ideal customer targets and coordinate the alignment of the Microsoft field partnership in relation to Azure
Engage directly with customers that are new to Azure by introducing the technology benefits and Softchoice service capabilities through our Hybrid IT Point of View, followed by developing an infrastructure modernization roadmap that meets the customer’s business and technology goals
In support of the opportunity to expand our customers’ use of Azure, responsibilities include the preparation of customer roadmaps, developing and delivering webinars and presenting at marketing events, participation in quarterly reviews, and to work with the Keystone engineers to facilitate mentoring sessions as required for each Keystone customer
Provide experience based input to the direction of Softchoice’s public cloud services strategy and help to shape the future our cloud business
As our ideal candidate you’ll also have:
Minimum Education – Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
5 years in either a Microsoft specialist or technical presales role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Creative and strategic thinker with strong presentation skills
Strong analytical skills to simplify the complex
Ability to create customer proposals that clearly communicates the customer needs and how our solution will fulfill the needs
Strong understanding of Azure services pricing models
Strong understanding of Azure services
Ability to structure and execute roadmap discussions with customers
Enthusiasm and passion for cloud technologies
