Nestled at the highest elevation in Canyons Village at Park City Mountain, Apex Residences offers a remarkable lifestyle and unparalleled access to the largest mountain resort in the country. Vail Resorts Hospitality is the premiere property management company in Park City and provides comprehensive management services to both homeowner associations as well as individual homeowners renting their units on a short-term basis. The Apex Residences Property Manager will manage the community association at the direction of the Executive Board, and individual residences within the development. They will build and lead the front desk, concierge, shuttle, and public area housekeeping teams. The Property Manager will collaborate closely with support departments including Engineering, Housekeeping, and Revenue Management to deliver Vail Resorts’ mission of Experience of a Lifetime to homeowners and guests. Success in this position is strong financial performance, well-maintained properties and satisfied homeowners and guests.
Apex Residences is a developing community. This winter, the Property Manager will provide concierge, shuttle, and other owner and guest services personally. As more residences are completed, he or she will build and lead the team that manages the community and continues to provide these services.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Budgeting, financial analysis, capital planning, contractor/vendor coordination and property inspections.
Building and maintaining relationships with homeowners. Acquisition and retention of rental management agreements for individual properties.
Providing exceptional service to the board, homeowners and guests.
Coordinating and facilitating executive board meetings, annual members' meetings and special meetings.
Interviewing, hiring, training and coaching on-property staff, both supervisory and front line.
Managing Rental Program including solicitation of rental management contracts, coordination of housekeeping and maintenance, inspections pre-arrival and post-departure as well as working with Revenue Management and Reservations teams to maximize rental revenue and occupancy.
Safe operation of community shuttle.
Proven experience in and passion for service.
Ability to proactively identify and prioritize tasks to satisfy various stakeholders.
Familiarity with maintenance and building systems in large condominiums.
Exemplary verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to read, comprehend and write complex correspondence and effectively communicate with guests and homeowners using diplomacy and tact required. Ability to communicate in Spanish a plus.
At least five years of experience in community association management in a resort environment preferred.
Experience with Property Management software applications such as SMS, PMS and LMS is preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications - Excel, Word, Outlook, Access.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
CMCA, AMS or PCAM certification is strongly preferred.
Able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
Flexible schedule including weekends, nights and holidays.
Current US Driver's License.
Ability to complete a Motor Vehicle Report upon hire.
