The Regional Recruiter will collaborate with operational managers on a regular basis to proactively identify and fill open job vacancies. While modeling company core values, the Regional Recruiter will drive and manage the full life cycle recruiting process. The Recruiter will attract candidates using various sources including social media networks and employee referrals. This role is ultimately responsible for attracting and hiring the best employees for the company’s growing needs and developing a strong talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
Collaborates with location managers on a regular basis to ensure a full understanding of the job requirements/expectations and business needs for each open position and proactively partners with the location managers to identify future hiring needs.
Sources qualified candidates using various venues: social media networks, databases and employee referrals.
Coordinates all aspects of and personally participates in Job Fairs, networking events at the site location, campus recruiting and other events to ensure a qualified talent pool
Designs and implements an overall recruiting strategy for each location to ensure a qualified diverse workforce.
Ensures compliance with OFCCP, State, Local and Federal agencies as required.
Prepares recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board /newspaper/colleges/social sites, etc. in partnership with the Corporate Talent Acquisition
Provides timely follow-up with managers on the recruitment process of open positions and available talent.
Screens resumes/job applicants
Conducts interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods
Develops an onboarding strategy/process for each location in coordination with the location management/support team members.
Audits and analyzes data - provides meaningful reports/metrics including anticipated manpower planning.
Partners with Corporate North America COE resources as required in areas of compensation, compliance, policies, and procedures.
Provides training and development in the areas of interviewing and screening for interviewers. Develops materials as appropriate.
BS/MS in Human Resources Management or equivalent degree
2-5 years of proven high volume recruiting in a manufacturing/production environment (either as an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
Demonstrated full life cycle recruiting and ability to handle high volume requisitions and high level of multitasking
Prior experience with recruiting for skilled trades positions (maintenance, electrical, tooling, etc.)
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress, etc)
Hands-on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check, etc)
Ability to organize skills assessment centers ( work samples, psychometric and IQ/EQ tests, etc)
Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
Familiarity with recruiting compliance (AAP/EEO)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong decision-making, influencing, and relationship building skills
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally
Spanish language skills would be a plus
Frequent travel within the region required
