Full Job Description
This position is responsible for the planning and development of the data warehouse and business intelligence systems for Enterprise Data Services.
Experience and Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, technology, engineering, or related field required. Advanced degree in science, technology, engineering, math, or related field preferred.
Ten (10) years of progressively responsible Data Warehouse management, Business Intelligence, or related IT experience required. Prior experience in the healthcare industry and agile development methodologies is highly preferred.
Serve as a technology thought leader for the EDW. Provide leadership on data architecture, data modeling, data governance, and business intelligence tools.
Oversee the expansion of the EDW to support the enterprise data initiatives integrating data from disparate source systems.
Review and approve data model design of facts and conformed dimensions. Define and enforce data modeling standards using appropriate methodology (e.g., Kimball).
Lead the development of automation for data transformation and quality control using Microsoft technology including SQL Server, SSIS, and SSAS
Discover new and improved ways to deliver data to end users ensuring the appropriate business intelligence tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, R, etc., are employed to meet customer needs
Oversee the design of the EDW server farm working with on premise data centers as well as cloud hosting such as Azure.
Explore and introduce new analytics technology especially in the areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data.
Participate in relevant data governance workgroups and steering committees.
Prioritize and facilitate data requests from operational groups. Manage utilization of various resources to maintain maximum efficiency and meet performance objectives.
Implement changes that lead to continuous improvement in customer service. Maintain breadth and depth of knowledge in cutting edge technology and leverage enterprise and industry best practices.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, privacy & security policies, and procedures.
Oversee budget expenditures and scheduling. Manage supervisors and/or subordinate managers, establishing priorities.

Working Conditions Work is performed primarily in general office environment.
