Job Summary
The brand new Cappadocia Cafe in White River Junction is now hiring for Front of House Cafe Staff. Cappadocia Cafe is White River Junction's newest addition and is set to open September 26th. The owners of the very popular Tuckerbox restaurant are now opening a Turkish Cafe and Bakery with a wood fired pizza oven. Join our team and be a part of our new creation - many in the Upper Valley already know about Cappadocia Cafe and are waiting for it to open. We will be very busy and the tips will be good. We are looking for Front of House staff to make Barista drinks, take orders, keep the dining room and bar clean and take care of our guests. This is a quick service restaurant concept where guests order and pick up their meal/drinks at the counter.
Duties
- Make Coffee Drinks (Barista)
- Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Follow food safety protocols and sanitize work areas regularly
- Operate Toast POS system efficiently
- Support café staff with tasks as needed
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple responsibilities
- Utilize POS system for order processing
- Apply basic math skills for transactions
- Provide exceptional customer service in a restaurant setting
- Pour beer/wine, make mimosas
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant environment is preferred
- Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of basic food safety practices and sanitation procedures
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
