As an Analyst for our Underpayment Recovery team, you will become an expert in the complex reimbursement methodology between hospitals and government and private insurance. These individuals will focus on identifying missed revenue opportunities for hospitals and major healthcare systems.
Analysts are responsible for conducting analysis, trending and data mining on large data sets, in addition to spending time on the phone with insurance companies and writing appeal letters. You will also be asked to conduct research and produce summaries of your findings for management and other team members. This position requires good time management skills and the ability to be flexible to various scenarios. Additionally, the ideal candidate should bring a creative and insightful point of view, the ability to work independently and as a team, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree or higher with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
1-3 years of experience in finance or data analytics role (required)
1 year of experience in healthcare (preferred)
