Overview
The Brand Experience team is responsible with conveying the heart and soul of Intuit. We help shape the brand, company culture, employee and customer experience. We are a diverse group of multidisciplinary designers, event and experience producers, motion designers and film editors, who take on a variety of projects from core brand identity, global campus design, film production, internal and external events and more. We make sure the brand continues to inspire through visual and experiential design.

We are looking for an Event Lead who is a strategic conceptual thinker and an exceptional people leader to join the Brand Experience Team. The Event Lead oversees all Intuit events in coordination with Event Producers, from strategic planning to experience production to program management.

Many customers and employees experience Intuit through events large and small. We want them to be delighted. We need event experts who think big and play well with others: partnering with design to activate the vision, coordinating with vendors to ensure quality control, working with leadership to produce the experience they dreamed of.

Responsibilities

Expertise:
Versed in the creative process. Pushes creative boundaries as appropriate. Knows when and how to innovate and scale.
Leads event team and manages stakeholders through the event’s lifecycle.
Proactively spots and troubleshoots roadblocks or pressure points within a project. Solves problems before they become problems.
Develops inspired and informed project briefs based on the larger creative or experience brief.
Versed in the full creative process. Pushes creative work to best-in-class levels.

Process:
Collaborates with Creative Lead and Design Leads to ensure concepts and themes tie to the broader experiences and goals.
Lives to delight event attendees on behalf of the Intuit brand.
Fosters healthy relationships in and outside the team. Crosses boundaries and disciplines to make the work great.
Trusted as the go-to expert. Determines best practices, shares inspiring examples, encourages ongoing learning.
Measures programs for effectiveness. Conducts post-event reporting and ROI analysis.
Analyzes each project’s process issues, delivery gaps, misaligned expectations, etc. and works with Operations to optimize.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10+ years of global enterprise technology event experience.
Exceptional project management skills and experience, including managing multiple internal stakeholders, external creative agencies, and events vendors.
Ability to gracefully deal with senior executives at the highest level as well as orchestration of overall event program.
Independent, detail-oriented self-starter who can handle ambiguity, prioritize, and drive deliverables to execution with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and ability to influence multiple stakeholders at various levels.
Experience engaging with and building partnerships across organizations
Demonstrated budget management, negotiation and organization skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to travel and work flexible hours on occasion.
