We are looking for a safety-minded, skilled individual to operate and maintain our Rochester, NH Hot Mix Asphalt Batch Plant. Duties include daily operations of plant computer automated controls, preventive & repair maintenance, and inspection and documentation of activities to produce a quality hot mix product that exceeds expectations.
3+ years of experience in hot mix asphalt plant operation and maintenance preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
Ability to perform heavy lifting
Ability to work in confined spaces and at high elevations
Heavy equipment operator experience is a plus
Employees receive up to two weeks of vacation per year.
401k Retirement Plan:
Eligible after 6 months of service prior to January 1st or July 1st. 3% minimum contribution to participate. The company matches 100% of that 3% weekly and may make an annual discretionary match of up to an additional 3%. Plan compensation for the match is based on 40 hours per week straight time pay only.
Hourly employees will receive pay for holidays falling on days they would normally be scheduled to work.
Health and Dental Insurance
Employees are eligible after 90 days of service. Health plan is through Cigna and dental plan is through Ameritas. Employees pay approximately 20% of the cost.
Health Savings Account
Employees taking group health insurance are eligible to put pre-tax payroll deductions in a Health Savings Account to help with medical costs and deductibles.
Health Insurance Reimbursement Program
Employees who have other health insurance and do not need group insurance are eligible for reimbursement up to $2500 per year.
Short Term Disability Insurance
Employees are eligible after 90 days of service. Benefit is 66.6% of gross pay for up to 26 weeks. Provided to employees at no cost to them.
Employees are eligible after 90 days of service. Benefit is 1 times the employee’s annual salary rounded up to the nearest $1,000 (based on 40 hours per week for 52 weeks.) Paid for by Brox Industries.
Dependent Cart Assistance Program (DCAP)
Employees can have the cost of day care deducted from their pay each week before taxes. The company will then issue the participant a check for the deducted amount once a month.
