The assistant manager position is responsible for the day to day management of restaurant:
-Reporting to the general manager, you will be recruiting, hiring, training and leading team members to reach their goals while maximizing sales and profitability.
-Managing expenses, controlling inventory, and maintaining strict sanitation standards.
-Adhering to company policies and procedures, and all state and federal wage and hour regulations and filing responsibilites
-responsible and accountable for key results to include food cost, inventory levels, utility usage and health department ratings
-creating and managing team member schedules for FOH and BOH and monitoring payroll expenses
-executing new initiatives including new product and menu implementation
Maintain and grow customer satisfaction
Take on responsibilities of GM when not present
Insure quality of food and service at every shift
Minimum high school degree. College degree preferred
Minimum of two years restaurant management experience
Hard working, passionate, energetic and business minded
Dependable, reliable and motivated to succeed
FOH skills -POS systems, social media knowledge and MICROS
Strong oral and written communication skills
Able to work ten hour shifts, plus ability to stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods of time
Knowledge of craft beers, wine, spirits, bourbons, etc.
This position requires you to stand for many hours
