Job Description

Ramco Protective Services is looking for a sales representative for private security. Whom has the ability to communicate clearly to new potential, new, and current clients the daily procedures we offer at gated communities. Our company specializes in access control work. Primary Requirements Skills Required

  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales quotas
  • Prospect for new clients and establish mutually beneficial relationships with existing clients to obtain referrals to develop into new sales.
  • Talk with potential clients, inspect and review physical premises as required, design system requirements in accordance with clients needs to provide to CEO for sign off and contract preparation.
  • Represent the company at events and other functions to make contacts that will lead to new business.
  • Close sales, account management offer exceptional customer service and follow-up.
  • Monitor contract progress
  • Become knowledgeable on current clients in order to renegotiate expiring contracts.
  • Assist with procedural changes
  • Ability to research new constructions in order to submit a bid
  • Proficient in Microsoft word and outlook
  • Possess organizational and time management skills


  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the State
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must have reliable transportation, with a valid driver’s license
  • Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verification's, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must have professional appearance and demeanor

  • College is preferred but not required

Experience required

  • 1 Year: Prospecting
  • 1 Year: Outside sales
  • Preferably 1-year sales experience in the security guard industry

Travel time requirement

  • 50% of the time to meet with new/prospective clients.
