We're looking for a Database Developer with a consultant mindset. One who is flexible enough to jump onto any project and bring their "portfolio" of skills and experiences to creativity, yet methodically solve our Client's problems. You could be asked to help plan and execute upgrades, migrations, and/or provide analysis into how applications interact with the database to make change in teh application code. You may also work with a project team to design, develop, and implement a custom solution that integrates with various other data sources.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

Develop and manage databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
Apply data modeling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations
Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent profession preferred
A minimum of 3 years experience
Advanced knowledge of SQL Server (2012 2016) or Oracle
Ability to transition between various types of Databases ( ex: MS SQL, MongoDB, Oracle)
Demonstrable track record of successfully solving problems by delivering new, higher quality features/services/solutions in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment
Commitment to team work, hard work and strong communication skills
Passionate about learning new technologies, in order to keep up with the increasingly fast pace of technology
