The primary purpose of this position is to provide direction, coordination, and management of all administrative activities for the region.
This vacancy is for an Administrative Officer position in the Chicago Regional Office located in Oak Brook, IL.
The individual selected for this position will:
Plan, organize, direct, and manages the administrative functions of the regional office.
Serve as a member of the regional office management team providing advice and guidance on a variety of administrative issues.
Supervise a staff performing personnel, time and attendance, and general administrative support work.
Monitor the Program Division Overhead project to ensure that salaries, training, and other object expenditures are within budget.
Occasional travel - Occasional Travel may be required.

The work schedule for this position is Mixed Tour. With a Mixed Tour work schedule, an employee may be changed between full-time, part-time and intermittent work schedules to accommodate fluctuating workloads and is subject to a signed agreement.

Experience for this position includes providing analytical, planning, and evaluative reports on internal activities or functions such as human resources, fiscal management, travel, space administration, etc. Coordinates and directs projects concerned with the development of new and better techniques of administration aimed at improving the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative operations. Directs, coordinates and manages all administrative activities of a large regional office.

You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
