IT JUNIOR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR
As a key member of The Briad Group, this position is primarily responsible for all aspects of network administration in our Arizona office including servers, desktop systems, communications hardware/software and office systems directly and/or remotely. This position will also provide backup support to our NJ based Systems Manager. Must have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. This position will provide after-hours and weekend support, and must be willing to travel.
Roles & Responsibilities
Including backup, security management, disaster recovery, patch management, user account management, e-mail systems including e-mail web server, internet access, office systems and applications support
Analyzes network workflow, access, information, and security requirements
Maintains network, evaluates network performance issues and availability
Defines network policies and procedures in conjunction with PCI standards
Responsible for protecting company values by keeping organizations information confidential
Maintain logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance and repair records
Rolls out hardware and software to ensure optimal deployment of resources
Directly supports over 60 remote sites across several states
Manages projects according to agreed upon budgets and schedules
Troubleshoots telephone and telephone system issues
Provide second level escalation for issues that arise from 60+ restaurant locations
Install POS and equipment and systems at new store and restaurant locations
Responsible for assisting in preventative maintenance at our restaurant locations
Complete onsite preventative maintenance on restaurant servers (requires travel)
Required Experience, Skills and Education
2+ years System Administrator Experience
MCSA or equivalent work experience
2+ years experience with hardware installation and maintenance
Ability to travel, including overnight, to locations throughout California and Nevada.
Ability to easily lift 30-50 lbs (during installs, etc)
Ability to climb ladders (to access server racks while performing preventative maintenance)
Hands on experience with Windows Server Administration and Exchange Admin
Hands on experience with maintaining Active Directory and Group Policies
Ability to work alone or in a team environment
Must have proficiency in time management and good organizational skills
Restaurant or Retail experience desired but not required
Demonstrated knowledge in setting up remote user accounts
Demonstrated knowledge in support of network printers and photocopiers
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously
