THE CHALLENGE

Eventbrite is the world’s largest self-service ticketing platform. We build the technology to allow anyone to create, share, find and attend events that fuel their passions and enrich their lives. The Nashville engineering team is looking for a catalyst for change who can clearly communicate, transform, and mentor our teams into an agile way of working. As a catalyst for change, you will influence senior leaders, team leaders, and contributors by coaching, collaborating, and improving the organization’s implementation of agile.

THE TEAM

At Eventbrite we tackle tough problems. We learn, grow, and have fun in the process. The women and men of Eventbrite’s Engineering team enjoy facing challenges as individuals, but we are also eager to collaborate and share our knowledge. The Nashville engineering team is charged with building our next generation organizer app, and the APIs and services that power it. We perform weekly demos of the code we ship, hone our skills through code reviews, and tell the world about it on Eventbrite’s Engineering Blog. THE ROLE

We are looking for an Agile Coach that will work directly with our international engineering teams, product management teams and senior leadership to develop our organization’s approach to agile. You will tap into the strengths of each individual to work towards embracing agile methodologies emphasizing close collaboration across self organizing, cross-functional teams and frequent delivery of business value. We are looking for someone who is capable of team coaching, individual coaching, mentoring and facilitating.

THE SKILL SET
7+ years experience working in enterprise organizations
4+ years experience with agile and DevOps in enterprise organizations
3+ years experience with agile frameworks and methodologies such as Kanban, Scrum, Lean, XP, etc
2+ years experience of demonstrated success as agile coach in enterprise organizations
Proven results in transforming software engineering teams from waterfall to agile
Coach and develop organization’s approach to Agile by regularly assessing team’s maturity
Demonstrate success in influencing skills to achieve alignment in senior leadership, business stakeholders, and cross functional teams
Possess a strong passion for coaching and transformation
CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner)
