The Manager Costing Supply Chain Finance provides financial and integration support for business development activities and is a lead financial resource for supporting ongoing Operations cost down activities projects including, but not limited to, materials and labour waste and developing plant profitability reporting. This role is responsible for conducting capital project postmortems and sharing the results with Operations, Supply Chain and Procurement to drive improved return on capital investment. This role also supports the development and maintenance of a standard suite of network wide reporting KPI's focused on driving operational and financial excellence.
Where required this role will support the Manager Costing Supply Chain Finance in co-pack bid costing and Supply Chain sourcing costing activities.
Key elements of the role include understanding the company's cost structure and financial reporting and processes, partnering closely with cross functional teams to deliver analytic solutions, and performing ad hoc analyses to support cost improvement and increased profitability. The responsibilities of this role are varied, creating a very challenging, dynamic and rewarding work environment. This position will work with a variety of people within the business unit inclusive of Procurement, Plant Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Refresco North America Finance and Business Development.
The following are essential duties and responsibilities for this position:
Support business development efforts through in-depth financial analysis and modeling for potential acquisitions. Support the financial integration for acquisitions inclusive of working cross functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, IT, business systems and Controller Finance teams for successful integration of business processes with reporting activities.
Work with Plant Operations, Plant Controllers, Procurement and Supply Chain to understand plant capabilities, capacities, and cost structures to identify network cost down opportunities in key cost areas such as materials waste and labour inefficiencies to deliver the profitability impacts.
Work with Plant Operations, Plant Controllers and Supply Chain to develop standard network wide key metrics, including but not limited to labour efficiency, line performance and waste, aligned with driving operational and financial excellence.
Complete detailed post mortems on significant capital investment to validate return on investment and investment effectiveness. Work with Operations to leverage the analysis to drive improved return on capital investments.
Support the Supply Chain Finance Controller team on adhoc plant specific operations projects and plant reporting activities where resources are required.
Support Manager Costing Supply Chain Finance on co-pack bid costing and Supply Chain sourcing costing activities.
Ability to provide fact-based recommendations across various levels of management.

This position will need to utilize SAP, CC+I and Excel to navigate through large data sets and summarize findings into a management level communication.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; proficiency working in Excel is required. Power point skills are preferred.

Education and Experience:
Finance or Accounting accreditation preferred but not required (e.g. CMA, CFA, CA or CPA)
2-5 years of experience in manufacturing costing and cost optimization analytics required.
Beverage manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience interacting directly with Operations and Supply Chain teams.
