About Us: Real Property Management Colorado (RPM)is a privately owned residential leasing and property management company based in Denver, Colorado since 2007. The company currently has offices in the Denver, Colorado Springs and Ft. Collins/Loveland Metro Areas. RPM primarily focuses on the leasing, management and maintenance of a large portfolio of single-family homes, townhomes, condos and small apartment buildings. Daily activities for the company include inbound and outbound sales, marketing and showing vacant rental properties, screening potential tenants, drafting lease agreements, processing rents, and coordination of maintenance repairs and services. Job Summary: Real Property Management Colorado is looking for a dynamic and driven professional to take on the leadership and management of our Leasing Department. The Vice President of Leasing will lead a team of high performance Leasing Agents, Leasing Assistants and office staff and oversee the structure and systems within the Department. The primary focus is executing the company’s strategic plan, growing our Leasing Team and it’s capabilities, while enhancing the Department’s overall performance. The scope of work within the Department primarily includes activities related to leasing our portfolio of vacant homes. Daily activities within the Department include preparing and presenting comparative market reports, showing vacant property to prospective tenants, screening tenants for preset qualifications, drafting lease agreements, conducting move-in and move-out inspections, negotiating lease extensions and renewals, coordinating repairs and services with RPM’s Maintenance Department, and communicating with property owners and tenants throughout the leasing process. The position ensures that the work completed within the Department is done in accordance with Colorado Real Estate and Fair Housing Laws. The Vice President of Leasing will oversee the Department in existing markets and future expansion markets. This position will report directly to the Executive Vice President of Operations.
Compensation and Benefits: This position will have an annual salary range of $75,000 to $85,000, based on experience, with a bonus structure that will provide a total compensation target of $100,000/year. The company also offers medical, dental, 401K and a company car.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
A member of the Executive Team with a company-wide responsibility as a role model, motivator, team leader and culture builder, promoting Real Property Management Colorado’s mission, vision, values and strategy
Provide strong leadership, management and development of the Leasing Team
Ensure achievement of clearly defined Departmental goals, milestones, and KPIs
Establish and communicate goals and targets for individual Leasing Team members and ensure required activities are accomplished
Strong focus on leasing and rental strategies to minimize turnover times and active days on market
Ensure compliance with Colorado Real Estate and Fair Housing Laws
Source, interview and onboard new team members as needed and execute key training and development programs
Leverage technology across the Department to ensure maximum productivity of the leasing activities
Interact directly with customers on a regular basis to better understand their service needs
Highly effective at building, managing, and motivating a team

Bachelor’s Degree Required. A focus on Business Administration is beneficially weighted (Marketing, Finance, Management, Real Estate, Economics, etc.)
Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience
2 years experience as a Director, VP or equivalent managerial experience required
Valid Driver’s License
Colorado Real Estate License Required
Physical and Mental Demands
Ability to sit for extended periods of time in the car, on an airplane or at the office
Travel to markets outside of Colorado required
Business math capabilities
Ability to learn internet based software/apps
Intermediate/Advanced understanding of Industry software
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Position will require travel to local properties (Colorado Front Range) and travel outside of Colorado will be required in the future.
Moderate noise within the company office and offsite jobsites (examples: business office with computers, printers, and light traffic)
