Freelance Landscape Designer
GREENCITYdesign is seeking a Freelance landscape designer with a flexible schedule for landscape design work on a per-job basis that can be done from the comfort of your own home. GREENCITYdesign a Design + Build firm based in Hoboken, NJ, servicing the high end residential clientele of Manhattan, Jersey City, and Hoboken areas. We specialize in roof gardens, terraces, townhouses, backyards, and renovation projects.
Location: Freelance position
Compensation: Per project basis

Requirements:
● Designer should be versatile and able to create computerized renderings of between 3-10 pages that include planting schemes, elevation drawings, hardscaping, furniture plans, and custom work.
● Ability to meet project deadlines in a time efficient manner.
● Competency with Illustrator, Sketch-Up, Adobe Photoshop, or other design software.
● Ability to be given site conditions, measurements, photos, and generate design plan and renderings
● Proficiency in preparing accurate and thorough construction documents, contracts,
& estimates
● Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
Preferred:
● Knowledge of plant names and habits
● Knowledge of NYC and NJ construction codes and zoning.
● BA in graphic design, landscape design, or landscape architecture
