Located along the banks of the Mississippi in beautiful downtown Memphis TN, AutoZone is searching for a Talent Sourcing Specialist to join our team. As a Talent Sourcing Specialist, you will focus on generating IT candidates for our critical and challenging to find skill sets. You will partner with our Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to support our most critical positions, leading to the continued success of the IT function.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for driving the external talent landscape and being a subject matter expert on sourcing strategies that align with talent needs for the AutoZone IT function
  • Daily tasks will include:
  • Crafting custom outreach and meaningful candidate engagement with mostly passive talent
  • Recommending and introducing improvements with Recruiters to effectively screen and assess talent
  • Researching and gathering market intelligence
  • Recommending and implementing proactive and efficient talent sourcing programs to build talent pipelines for key roles and challenging-to-fill positions * As a key member of our team, we will rely on your ability to measure, analyze and deliver data on sourcing efforts as an integral component to optimizing our sourcing activity
  • Responsible for maintaining candidate databases (e.g. via our Applicant Tracking System)
  • Will act as a key brand ambassador by effectively delivering the AutoZone EVP to substantially improve sourcing results

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience required
  • Advanced and unique talent acquisition research/sourcing skills are essential
  • Must be able to quickly assimilate into a team who shares similar passion, innovation and creativity surrounding sourcing functions and be responsible for demonstrating innovation in sourcing
  • Every day at AutoZone is different! Must be able to manage competing demands, while being extremely adaptable and flexible
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex data, analyze trends and identify actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills required
  • Ability to create and maintain documents using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Effective critical thinking and problem solving skills required
  • Must be results-driven
