Join our team! Technical College of the Lowcountry is recruiting Science Lab Assistants for Hampton, Beaufort, and New River Campuses for Fall/Spring Semesters!

The Sciences Lab Assistant will provide support for all science courses requiring laboratory component.
Prepare and implement laboratory in conjunction with the sciences faculty.
Maintain equipment and supplies within the sciences budget in conjunction with the sciences faculty.
Prepare laboratory equipment/supplies for all science courses as directed by the sciences faculty.
Prepare chemicals, specimens, slides, materials, and apparatus for laboratory sections.
Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the laboratories with respect to equipment, supplies, and materials.
Facilitate compliance with OSHA, DHEC, and other regulatory agency standards and in compliance with Lab Safety Plan.
Monitor the use of the labs by all instructors maintaining lab security and safety procedures.

Associates, Bachelors, or Master's degree and/or work or academic experiences in a laboratory based field. Individual should have strong verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and a working knowledge of the biology and chemistry laboratory settings. Individual should require minimal supervision.
