Our Muncy, PA location is looking for a qualified individual to perform installation, preventative, routine, and repair maintenance tasks on electronic, electrical and mechanical equipment as well as diagnose problems in order to minimize downtime and repair costs.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: production maintenance, installation, and repair of equipment, machinery, and operating systems through interpretation of drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams as well as the use of electronic testing and precision measuring instruments; maintenance and repair of programmable controllers and related apparatus; utilize electronic knowledge and troubleshooting techniques; diagnose and troubleshoot problems with production machines; assist in the installation of equipment in capital and facility projects including pipefitting, plumbing, and carpentry; design, recommend, and fabricate (including simple layout and welding) improvements and take stop-gap measures to keep equipment operating when OEM parts are not available; perform preventative and corrective maintenance involving mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, programmable controllers and electronics/electrical equipment; maintain inventory of maintenance shop supplies; and perform all other duties as assigned.

Education and skills required for this position: Technical Associate's Degree or Journeyman's certificate and experience in industrial maintenance; proficient in reading and interpreting complex drawings and schematics; and experienced with the use of precision measuring and test devices. Requires performing job in a safe and efficient manner; exercise independent judgment; pay close attention to detail; comply with strict product standards; operate fork trucks, cranes, high lifts, and other mobile equipment. Must be able to communicate with all levels of staff, work independently or as a team, and keep area clean and orderly while maintaining 5S standards.

Position requires ability to work in manufacturing plants with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels, dust, dirt, fumes, heavy duty magnets, welding machines, and manual/remote controlled devices using radio signals. Candidate required to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, grasp, ascend/descend stairs and ladders, maneuver within tight spaces, climb on machinery, and routinely lift up to of 50 lbs. Must possess excellent mobility, solid visual acuity, good hearing, touch, coordination, balance, and manual dexterity. Position requires ability to endure long hours and work to the highest standards of safety, quality, 5S housekeeping at all times, as well as wearing necessary personal protective equipment.
