Position Title: Director Human Resources

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Job Description:
The Director Human Resources is a member of the Leadership Team and is responsible for all HR functions of the firm including recruiting non-Advisor positions, onboarding, updating and maintain HR files, employee benefits, payroll including special bonus payments and quarterly Advisor payouts. Additional responsibilities include supervise Greenwich Receptionist, work in conjunction with Chief Marketing Officer on client events as well as Annual Shareholder meeting, support the Board of Directors in scheduling Board and Board Committee meetings.

Essential Duties of the Director Human Resources

Supports management by providing HR advice, counsel and decisions; guides management by researching, developing, updating policies, procedures and guidelines.
Communicates and enforces firm core values
Coordinate all interviews for non-Advisors
Assist management in developing job descriptions for open positions
Source appropriate new colleagues for open or new positions
Maintain all HR files
Advisor loan administration—set reminders for repayment, process bonus that is paid in conjunction with loan repayment
Process stock grant tax payments
Process regular payroll twice a month; process quarterly Advisor bonuses, special and annual bonuses
Recommend annual merit raises and bonuses based on performance reviews
Maintain and update Colleague Handbook in conjunction with legal and compliance
Prepare all documents needed for new colleagues including pre-employment screenings and onboarding of new colleagues
Schedule and coordinate New Colleague Orientation
Supervise Greenwich Receptionist
Review medical, dental, life and LTD colleague benefits to provide a quality plan for colleagues that are cost effective to the firm.
Enroll new colleagues in the benefits plans
Update changes to benefits
Manage CRA Community Development Outreach projects which includes planning, vetting organization to determine if they meet the necessary criteria and document involvement
Organize and execute client events in conjunction with Chief Marketing Officer

Knowledge / Skills:
Extensive experience in Human Resources Administration including knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, employee relations
Background in benefits design plans and implementation
Ability to serve as a successful participant on the Leadership Team
Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
Ability to interact effectively with the Board of Directors
Evidence of ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
