Sales Manager, Southwest US

Position: SunTap Sales Manager with coverage of the Phoenix / Scottsdale region. Opportunity to expand coverage territory to meet specific client needs (nationally and/or internationally). Long term opportunity (success based) to build and develop a team to support sales opportunities in the broader region. Compensation will predominantly be commission based with NO COMISSION CAP.

Location: Phoenix / Scottsdale Area

Day to Day Job Responsibilities:

  • Identifying business opportunities with current and prospective customers
  • Cultivating relationships with lead generation sources, exterior designers, architects, outdoor furniture companies, etc.
  • Driving all stages of deals, including sourcing, evaluation, pitching, proposals, negotiations and closing (with meaningful involvement and training to be provided by senior SunTap management)
  • Helping other sales team members with introductions for project opportunities in other geographies (for large customer accounts)
  • Monitor competitive landscape, gather market and customer information and provide feedback to senior management
  • Educate and conduct training sessions with partners about product portfolio, product updates and company announcements
  • Assist in marketing activities such as tradeshows, conferences and partner events
  • Update CRM system regularly with meeting, call and email activity
  • Create forecasts and reports in a timely manner

Position Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, marketing or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organization
  • Self-starter, energetic, result-driven individual
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from lead gen to close
  • Experience tracking and reporting data on lead activity
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Capable of working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Willingness to travel
  • Knowledge of the hospitality space a plus

About SunTap Solar Chargers: SunTap is the first solar powered mobile device charging station designed for hotels and their guests. The system is capable of charging two mobile devices at once, at the same speed as a wall outlet charger.
