Job title: Financial Analyst – Corporate Accounting
General Summary: The Financial Analyst of Corporate Accounting is primarily focused on closing the ledger and supporting internal business partners for the following departments: Marketing, International, and other commercial business activity. Additional responsibilities may include analyses of multi-year P&L related expenses for the various internal business partners
Reports to: Supervisor, Consolidations and Corporate Accounting
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for the following departments: Marketing, International and other commercial business activity.
Assist Segment team in actualizing workbooks related to the Marketing department and run meetings with internal partners
Prepare analyses as necessary related to the above departments for the monthly accountability meetings
Complete monthly analyses to ensure expenses for the above departments are in line with expectations and to understand and anticipate any variances, as applicable
Required Skills and Competencies:
High degree of accounting and analysis skills
Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Organizational and deadline-management skills
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Strong accounting knowledge
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
Experience: 1+ years of experience in accounting is preferred
Education: Undergraduate degree in accounting is required
