Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the company’s financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company’s shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.
The Liquidity Risk Management team is housed within Corporate Treasury, which is part of the Corporate Finance organization. The team maintains the corporate liquidity policy and contingency funding plans, produces liquidity stress testing and liquidity risk information for regulatory purposes, executive management, and the Board of Directors, and interacts with regulatory agencies on liquidity risk topics. In addition, the team is in the midst of a number of projects designed to increase our intraday liquidity risk management capabilities and MIS.
Intraday Liquidity Management is a function housed within Liquidity Risk Management and is specifically responsible for all areas involved intraday flows throughout the enterprise. This includes the overall governance model, frameworks and policies for intraday liquidity, intraday tools, successful delivery of intraday components of multiple regulatory deliverables including Recovery and Resolution Planning and SR 14-1 as well as any technology enhancements related to intraday liquidity.
Intraday Liquidity Management is seeking a talented, driven and hardworking individual that will be responsible for assisting with the build out of multiple functions within the intraday liquidity management team. The position’s primary responsibility will be assisting with the development and maintenance of reporting & analytical capabilities to be used to drive business performance and meet regulatory reporting requirements, including for Resolution Planning. This individual will help design and implement reporting capabilities that are to be used on a daily basis. This individual will also assist with ad hoc analysis and the data governance associated with intraday reporting.
Key elements of this position include:
Develop and maintain reporting and analysis solutions to track legal entity and line of business intraday liquidity performance.
Provide and maintain business metadata (business definitions, business rules, manual transformation, business controls, etc.)
Working with key Business Lines, Corporate Treasury, Collateral Management Unit, Cash Management, and Operations groups to identify intraday inflows and outflows, including for each material legal entity.
Preparation of additional ad-hoc analyses/presentations and completing special projects within tight deadlines.
6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics and reporting; or a BS/BA degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics or reporting
A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting
Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment
MS SQL server experience
Project management experience
Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
Ability to drive the requirements process with both technical and business partners
Ability to prepare presentations, management reporting, and statistical analysis
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access) skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of system including business requirement design or review, release management, and system issue resolution
Strong analytical skills with ability to turn findings into executable plans to meet business objectives
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
Other Desired Qualifications
Experience with SAS, SQL, Oracle, or other data management, reporting and query tools
Working knowledge of liquidity risk management concepts
Experience in Data Governance
Experience in defining & implementing common taxonomy across a large organization
Self-starter with exceptional critical thinking and analytic skills, who can formulate and complete complex analysis with minimal guidance
Experience building data warehouses and reporting processes
A Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
Knowledge and experience of Resolution Planning, specifically related to Payment, Clearing and Settlements (PCS) and Financial Market Utilities (FMUs).
Develop and maintain the reporting of PCS and FMU needs for ongoing production of regulatory reporting related to daily production of RLAP and RLEN
A BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis
