Vascular Health Partners is seeking 2 motivated Registered Vascular Ultrasound Technologists for our growing vascular practice in Latham and Queensbury/Glens Falls. This exciting position offers a unique opportunity for growth, development and new insights into the latest techniques in vascular surgery. This is a Monday – Friday position with no holiday, weekend or call coverage.
Some responsibilities include:
Preparing reports which includes test data and a written preliminary interpretation
Examinations including, but not limited to, extracranial cerebrovascular, upper and lower extremity arterial duplex and physiologic testing (PVR), upper and lower venous duplex, aorto-iliac, renal, mesenteric, dialysis access evaluation and preoperative vein mapping.
Some traveling required on rotational basis.
Successfully graduated from an accredited vascular ultrasound program or obtain the equivalent vascular experience.
Active certification or registry eligible for certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a registered vascular technologist (RVT) is required.

Must have solid knowledge base of anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics and pathology and how it relates to non-invasive vascular testing.
Experience performing vascular ultrasounds for at least 1 year is preferred.
