The Director of Sales Operations will be accountable for running day to day operations of Verana’s high performing Sales organization. This is a “hand on” role, designing and implementing sales processes and practices, supporting sales management and sales teams, and assisting in the continued, very rapid growth of Verana. The successful candidate will work in a highly collaborative environment, partnering with all departments. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who thrives in a busy work place.

Responsibilities
Set up the sales operations process, including software and tools
Lead the selection, implementation and optimization of sales productivity tools, procedures and policies
Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement
Develop key performance metrics and dashboards that help the sales organization focus on performance drivers
Lead a pipeline management program across sales to improve quality, volume and velocity of lead flow
Help drive strategic planning and capacity analysis for the sales organization
Identify, scope and drive critical projects and initiatives for sales teams, partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization
Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes, as well as planning activities with other functions and stakeholders within the firm
Coordinate training delivery to sales, sales management, and sales support personnel in the sales organization supported
Define, implement and manage sales compensation plans
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, sales/marketing, or related discipline, MBA a plus
7+ years’ experience includes sales process, sales process optimization and, especially CRM (salesforce.com) tools
Knowledge and experience in Sales commission plans and compensation plan design
Extensive first-hand experience with progressive sales automation systems and demonstrated ability to improve sales productivity
Thorough and exacting in attention to detail, excellent listening skills and strong analytical skills
Self-starter & hardworking, with a track record of success and drive for achievement
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and must enjoy collaborating with a team
Experience successfully managing multiple priorities simultaneously, maintaining a high-volume pace with the ability to creatively change gears as needed
Results-oriented with strong creative problem-solving skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
