We are seeking a Receptionist to provide the following front-office and administrative support:

  • Greets clients as soon as they arrive and connect them with the appropriate party
  • Sorts and distributes mail
  • Responds to regularly occurring requests for information
  • Learn standard operating procedures and work with facility security officers to enforce standard operating procedures
  • Visitor sign in/out
  • Inventory management and accountability for ordering office supplies
  • Generates administrative reports
  • Supports technical and security office personnel
  • Answers phones for the facility and takes messages or fields/answers all routine and non-routine questions
  • Processes payroll and other Human Resources (HR) tasking for personnel
  • Types and designs general correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, etc; responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy
  • Handles check requests and invoices sent to accounts payable for payment processing
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience

  • One or more years of administrative experience
  • Punctuality and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing documents
  • Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone manner
  • Experience with Excel or willingness to learn
  • Typing speed of at least 70 WPM
  • Overachieving attitude and enhanced work ethic
  • Demonstration and understanding of confidentiality
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Direct government or contract experience

Required Education

High school diploma or equivalent.
