As a construction foreman, you will work with our team on projects from concept through completion. You will also assist other contractors as needed by providing excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of quality workmanship. The construction foreman is responsible for the construction of new buildings. The person in this position will be a full-time employee. Work involves heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) on ladders up to 100 feet above ground level; climbing stairs as well as scaffolding at heights over 200 feet from rooftop to ceiling; standing upright during work hours while working under pressure; walking through various terrain, including concrete, asphalt, steel, etc.

Detailed job duties include:

  • Work with the construction team to complete all work in a timely manner.
  • Maintain safety of crew members, equipment, materials and tools.
  • Work closely with other employees on project tasks, including scheduling meetings and managing schedules.
  • Perform pre-construction inspections.
  • Provide training regarding job duties.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records related to assigned projects.
  • Develop detailed plans that include cost estimates, time sheets, budgets, labor costs, quality control and customer service.
