DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Advise real estate, gaming, lodging, homebuilding, and property tech (PropTech) clients on complex multibillion dollar mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs, leveraged buy-outs, capital structure, IPO’s, sale-leaseback’s, equity private placements, recapitalization transactions, ratings advisory and strategic alternatives. Advise real estate, gaming, lodging, homebuilding, and property tech (PropTech) clients on capital raising, including equity, debt, and convertible securities, including identifying potential investors, preparing investor presentations, and executing an assignment. Apply corporate finance and accounting knowledge including industry specific knowledge for real estate, gaming, lodging, homebuilding, and property tech clients to perform detailed valuation analysis and review of financial models including financial due diligence and review of client, counterparties and individual real estate assets. Prepare relationship update materials for real estate, gaming, lodging, homebuilding and property tech clients, including analysis on state of financial standing, financial impact of potential transactions and market update materials. Evaluate lending opportunities for real estate, gaming, lodging, homebuilding, and property tech (PropTech) clients on behalf of J.P. Morgan including credit impact, return on equity, and payback periods. Prepare proposals and negotiate terms with internal and external stakeholders on economic arrangements, process points, and craft key marketing documents including confidential investment memorandums and investor presentations. Lead the development of cross-functional financial analysis, corporate finance models, and detailed financial due diligence. Develop long-term relationships and strategies to help institutional and corporate clients growth and innovate their business. Build a high-performance culture and mentor investment-banking analysts to be best-in-class within an analytically-driven organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting and Finance, International Finance, Economics, Business Management, or related field of study plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or as Investment Banking Associate/Analyst, or related Gaming industry occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Financial advisory for gaming clients for matters including Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures, Spin-offs, Leveraged Buy-outs, Privatizations, Capital Structure, Equity Private Placements, Sale-leaseback’s, recapitalization transactions, and IPO; Buyside advisory; Sellside advisory; Financial forecasting analysis; Valuation methodologies including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) Analysis, Comparable Companies Analysis, Precedent Transactions Comparable Analysis, Merger Analysis, Leveraged Buy-out Analysis, and Ability to Pay Analysis; Capital Budgeting; Capital Financing decisions; Dividends; Capital Return Analysis; Gaming Equipment Suppliers, Online Gaming Sports Betting and Land-based Gaming sub-verticals; Equity and Debt Capital Markets; SNL; Factset; and Bloomberg.
Must also possess the following licenses: SIE; Series 63 FINRA license; and Series 79 FINRA license.
