With so many different types of equipment with different assembly requirements, it's hard to ensure all steps are completed in the same way every time. What do you do if you receive an order with an error?
When an error is made, you must fix it. But when a new order comes in, your supervisor will pay attention to how you handle that. If you perform well in this situation, it shows that you are capable of handling different situations. Make sure you demonstrate how you handle errors professionally.
Example answer: "I measure the error against the order form and the original part or product. I try to find a solution by referencing the manual or asking a coworker. If I can correct the error myself, then I do so. Otherwise, I ask for help from a supervisor."
