Full Job Description

Audit Senior - SIGNING BONUS!!!

Salary $65,000-$85,000

Signing Bonus - $10,000. $5,000 paid up front, $5,000 paid after one year of full-time employment.

We are seeking an Audit Senior with 2+ years’ experience to join our team of auditors in providing high-quality financial statement and advisory services to a wide range of industries.

We are a Spokane-based accounting firm with a fun and friendly, yet professional, culture. We serve clients in manufacturing, distribution, construction, not-for-profit, and employee benefit plans. We appreciate our team members, clients, and community. We believe in helping our team members achieve success with balance from flexible schedules to training programs.

This is an in-office position.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting or related field required.
CPA preferred or CPA exam eligibility required.
2+ years public accounting experience in audit preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Capable of simultaneously managing a variety of client engagements.
Strong motivation to meet client deadlines and provide excellent client service.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Ability to travel to client; occasional overnight stays are possible.

Responsibilities:

Supervise staff in audit planning and fieldwork, reviewing client accounting, and operating procedures.
Perform testing to support an audit opinion, including preparing supporting work paper documentation, conducting analytical reviews of account balances, and preparing financial statements.
Research technical issues that arise during an engagement.
Draft audit reports for management to review.
Assist in preparing risk assessment, audit programs, and prepare audit required communication reports.
Understand the importance of client relationships and responsive client service, building a professional network, and business development activities.
Provide leadership and supervision to audit staff.
