SUMMARY: The BCC Ignite Programmer develops workflows, tools and external connections for Navistar Directs Ignite implementation. The programmer will also train end users and develop documentation to support their work. The programmer will also provide support to the Content Layout team requiring complex layout programming.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
BCC Ignite/Redpoint (60%)
· Program, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate technology.
· QA checks on software upgrades, and new feature implementation.
· Support Team Lead/Supervisor on implementation of business solutions and client requests.
· Proactively identify opportunities to improve process.
Requirements and Analysis (25%)
· Assist in resolving internal/external inquiries related to input/output requirements, intended usage, strategic planning, and alignment of these elements to internal checks, controls, and quality assurance.
· Participate in team efforts to standardize process.
· Provide general hands-on demonstrations of common process.
· Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) of our systems.
· Assist with data file analysis.
Project and Data Management (15%)
· Participate in special projects and project management duties as needed.
· Collaboration with clients in both the sales and solution stages.
· Contribute to the upkeep and consistency of internal documentation related to issues, resolutions, usage topics, and training.
· Transform customer data to meet postal regulations using but not limited to the following · Tools: RPDM, SSMS, Excel, LinqPad.
This person must be open to possible off-hour on-call support as needed.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS are categorized and prioritized in the following:
Education and Experience
Required - 1-3 years of BCC Ignite experience.
Preferred -2-5 years of direct mail experience, 1-3 years of Quadient Inspire experience.
