Job summary

Martinus is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support our Bridge projects across America. Initially you’ll be submerged into several pre-contract opportunities where you will utilise your engineering technical ability with the support of the wider team and drive projects through to completion. This is a full cradle to grave opportunity.

Tasks and responsibilities

Review of costs of the month. Monthly updates of work completed vs work remaining, Implementing Forecast files and updating them each month.
Provide engineering support to the greater team to facilitate the construction delivery process
Actively develop work packages in support of project construction activities, defining scope of works, materials, and resource requirements
Support and assist the construction team in the execution of the project on time and to budget
Ensure that all construction is completed in accordance with the Project Quality Management Plan and Workplace Health and Safety standards
Directly influence the safety culture through the promotion of safe work practices to all project personnel
Perform technical, engineering, inspection, scheduling, planning, survey, procurement and quality control functions for all activities at site
Implement the inspection and test requirements of the Project Execution Plan
Maintain positive relationships with client representatives
Continually monitor work team, promoting learning and development opportunities in support of current and future project requirements and their own career development opportunities

Qualifications

Proven experience in relevant engineering projects across Heavy Civil projects
Relevant Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, construction management or similar
Demonstrated experience in the delivery of projects
Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex issues

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
