About the Role

As a Senior Electronics Systems Architect, you will serve as the primary technical authority for complex electronic platforms, driving the design and evolution of hardware systems that power our connected product portfolio. You will act as a bridge between hardware, firmware, and software engineering teams, ensuring that our architectural decisions result in scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities

Define and oversee end-to-end electronic architecture for controllers, edge devices, and integrated hardware systems.
Create and maintain comprehensive system-level documentation, including interface maps and architectural diagrams to guide cross-functional development.
Lead collaborative design sessions with software and firmware teams to ensure seamless integration and robust communication protocols.
Evaluate system performance constraints and interoperability challenges, proposing innovative technical solutions to enhance reliability.
Drive the adoption of new electronic technologies and components that improve cost-efficiency and system scalability.
Mentor engineering staff on best practices for system design, standardization, and technical decision-making.
Ensure all architectural designs meet rigorous safety, EMC, and global regulatory compliance standards.
Partner with operations and support teams to optimize designs for manufacturability and long-term field serviceability.

Qualifications

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering.
8+ years of experience in hardware architecture, embedded systems, or advanced electronics engineering.
Deep expertise in electronic system design, component selection, and complex system integration.
Strong proficiency in communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet, and wireless standards.
Proven ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable architectural documentation.
Excellent analytical and leadership skills with a track record of influencing multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Skills

Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
Experience with architectural modeling tools and high-level system design software.
Familiarity with regulatory certification processes including UL, PCI, and environmental safety standards.
Background in cross-domain systems, including power electronics and mechanical integration.
Experience working within global engineering organizations on multi-region product platforms.
