Full Job Description

Small but rapidly growing FISMA Software Company seeks Senior .NET Developer to join our software development team to modernize established Cybersecurity FISMA accreditations and collection systems. The systems we work on are highly visible and rapidly expanding. We are looking for a motivated self-starter eager to join our fast-paced, high-impact environment and hit the ground running. We develop software in an Agile methodology utilizing the newest and most up-to-date software development toolkits. We build software from the ground up using a blend of available and custom-built in-house frameworks.

The positions are remote, or you can work onsite in Arlington, VA, near the Ballston metro stop. Benefits include a 401K safe harbor plan w/ employer match, ten paid holidays, 15 days of personal time off, health insurance, commuter benefits, and tuition benefits.

Senior .NET Developer to Modernize Cybersecurity Systems

You will evaluate the existing system used across a large and broad user base to research, recommend and implement a new modernization framework in the latest .NET and Front-End technologies. Leverage your experience to start from the ground up using your lessons learned and expertise in choosing the best direction for the new modernization of the system. This is a hand on role where you will be doing full-stack development and contributing to architecture design and direction.

Must have

Current Top Security Clearance (Ability to hold and obtain an Interim will be considered)
10+ years of Software Development experience
7+ years of .NET experience, including ASP.NET, MVC, Webforms, and C# or VB.NET
3+ years of .NET Core including ASP.NET, Web API, Entity Framework, DI
5+ years of JavaScript Frameworks such as Angular, React, or Blazor
10+ years of Object-Oriented Development
10+ years of HTML / JavaScript
10+ years of SQL querying (complex joins, stored procedures, transactions)
10+ years of JSON and XML
5+ years working in an Agile environment
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience
Work well within a team environment; high energy and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Sense of Humor

Nice To Have

FISMA, SCAP, NIST, Knowledge
UI library experience such as Kendo, Telerik, Materials, Bootstrap
Reporting Experience such as Crystal Reports
Azure SQL and Administration Experience
Azure PaaS Architecture and Development experience

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:
