PLEASE NOTE:

This is a remote role with off-site responsibilities.
This is commission based, no annual salary. Range noted is estimate of commission that could be received in the year.
Extensive local travel is anticipated to meet defined deliverables; contractor manages their own travel logistics and schedule.
Compensation structure is commission and milestone based as defined in the independent contractor agreement.

About This Role:

The Independent Contractor – Market Development will be responsible for identifying, developing, and activating a newly designated market of Marriott property relationships on behalf of USALLIANCE Financial. This role is focused on market entry, relationship development, onsite event management, and growth of strategic partnerships that drive measurable membership and product adoption outcomes.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position, responsible for defining and executing an approach to market development aligned with agreed‑upon goals and deliverables.

This position is a 1099 independent contractor role and is not an employee of USALLIANCE Financial.
Contractor will determine the manner and means of performing services, subject to agreed‑upon deliverables and performance expectations.
Achievement of performance benchmarks and growth targets as defined in the independent contractor agreement.
Contractor is responsible for all tax obligations, insurance, expenses, and compliance associated with independent contractor status.

Scope of Work:

Identify and prioritize Marriott properties within an assigned geographic market for partnership development.
Establish and manage relationships with Marriott property leadership, HR, benefits, and operational stakeholders.
Conduct discovery conversations to understand property specific needs, employee demographics, and engagement opportunities.
Develop and execute market entry and activation strategies for assigned properties, including onsite and virtual engagement approaches.
Collaborate with USALLIANCE stakeholders to support partner onboarding, activation, and ongoing engagement.
Drive measurable outcomes including, but not limited to:
New property activations
Membership growth
Product adoption and account openings
Track and report market development activity and results against agreed upon metrics.
Represent USALLIANCE Financial professionally and consistent with USALLIANCE brand voice and identity in all partner facing interactions.
Maintain accurate documentation of partner activity, pipeline, and account plans ensuring accurate and timely data capture

Who You Are:

Fluency in English required and fluency in either Spanish, Portuguese, or Haitian Creole preferred
Experience in market development, business development, or partnership growth.
Strong relationship management, communication, and engagement skills
Analytical and organizational skills and improvement-oriented mindset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools
Ability to manage ambiguity and multiple shifting priorities independently
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or related field preferred
